DAY 1 | THE ARRIVAL & AMALFI COAST June 12
Transfer from airport to the hotel in Sorrento
Upon Arrival at Naples airport, meet your private English-speaking driver (who will be holding a signboard with your name on it) at the arrival hall (after passport control, baggage claims and customs) and be transferred by 2 minivans to your hotel in Sorrento.
The rest of the day will be at your own leisure.
DAY 2 | MOUNT VESUVIUS & WINERY June 13
Discovering Pompeii Private Excursion with Tasting Experience
Pompeii is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world that will surprise you for the many traces of its former magnificence.
In Pompeii you will meet a private guide, who will give you a vivid portrait of life at Romans times, showing you the many temples, the big Amphitheatre and the other monuments of the ancient city, that was completely buried under ash and pumice during the eruption of the Vesuvius in 79 AD.
At the foot of Mount Vesuvius, you will stop by a local winery, whose vineyard planted in the volcanic soil produces a unique wine: enjoy the wine tasting paired to appetizers made with local products, a delicious pasta dish with fresh tomato sauce, cheese selection and a traditional dessert!
DAY 3 | THE PATHS OF GODS June 14
Prepare yourself to fall in love for the Amalfi Coast, a magical land made of lush gardens, clear sea and small villages perched on rocks.
You will first enjoy a hiking path with a professional hiking guide, The Path of the Gods, which reminds of the spectacular scenery enroute that goes from Bomerano to Nocelle; the route runs gently downhill from this direction, with magnificent views of the Amalfi Coast and the island of Capri.
DAY 4 | ISLAND OF CAPRI June 15

DAY 5 | ON YOUR WAY TO ROME June 16
Today you will be transferred by private mini-bus from Sorrento to Rome. Upon arrival in Rome, you will check into your hotel and then meet your guide for the tour.

Enjoy a day in Rome and exploit your time visiting the main highlights of the Eternal City with a guide at your complete disposal.
Discover the main sites of the ancient and modern ages: the Pantheon, formerly a Roman temple of all Gods where two kings of Italy are buried, and the best of Baroque art represented by the impressive Piazza Navona, hosting the works of two great rivals with the mysteries hidden in their masterpieces to reveal.
Stopping at the Trevi Fountain, don’t forget to flip a coin to make sure you will come back to Rome soon!
DAY 6 | VATICAN MUSEUMS & SISTINE CHAPEL June 17
Venture into the smallest State of the world without waiting in line and take advantage of an expert guide for a special visit.
Through the Vatican galleries you will admire artworks by the Popes’ personal collections, towards the four Raphael Rooms that host the stunning fresco of the School of Athens. In the Sistine Chapel, where new Popes are elected by the cardinals on the conclave, take your time to appreciate the impressive little details of The Last Judgement, the ceiling fresco by the great master Michelangelo!
Afterwards you will continue to the biggest church in the world, the St. Peter’s Basilica, with the touching Michelangelo’s Pietà and the imposing canopy by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Enjoy the view of the huge square designed by Bernini: can you discover the bizarre trick of the colonnade?
DAY 7 | THE ANCIENT ROME June 18
Immerse yourself into the Ancient Rome with an expert guide at your disposal who will bring the ruins to life.
Visiting the Colosseum, once known as Amphiteatrum Flavium, theatre for gladiators’ battles and executions, you will listen tails of bloody fights and events that will bring you back to the Roman Empire!
The very heart of political, religious and commercial activities of ancient Rome were the Forums: from the Arch of Constantine through the Via Sacra (Sacred way), you will follow the path of the triumphal processions for winning leaders to the ruins of the altar where Julius Caesar was cremated.
DAY 8 | ON THE WAY TO TUSCANY June 19

In Siena, together with your private guide, you will see the main sites of the medieval city, including the imposing Palazzo Comunale (Siena’s town hall) with the high Mangia Tower.You cannot miss Piazza del Campo, the very icon of the town, in which the famous Palio horse race takes place every summer!
Enjoy the drive through the Chianti countryside and reach the hamlet of Monteriggioni. Enter the small village through the beautiful Porta Franca. This medieval jewel was built in the 13th century as a Sienese defensive fortification, during the wars against the powerful Florence.

Today will be at your own leisure to enjoy the hotel’s amenities or maybe spend some time on your own in Florence.
