Sunita goes above and beyond to make this the most enjoyable experience filled with beauty, joy, laughter and fun. She is generous in spirit and experience wanting to share it with others. The groups she brings together form lasting friendships. You can’t help but walk or hike away without wanting to pass on your experience of an Epic-Adventure. I know that was true in my case. Celebrating turning 60 in Big Sur was a great way to kick off this decade. I don’t know any other outdoor adventure group where the owner is out on the trails with the group. Sunita shows up enthusiastically whether for her second time (she always scouts her trips first) or her tenth time. Big Sur never gets old for her.

The Big Sur Day Trip was amazing, it truly was epic. I am from the area, born and raised and do go hiking a lot to that area and I was impressed that I did get to learn a new trail at Garrapata State Park – Costal Bluff.
The Ocean Front Stroll was very nice to view and take pictures. I do have to say that lunch was one of the best parts, Sur House in Ventana Inn and Spa Restaurant was beautiful, food was delicious and the view is mesmerizing. I can’t believe I live so close to that area, and I had never been. I am going back for sure. Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park – McWay Falls was beautiful, it was my first time going there as well and it did not disappoint. I got to see some beautiful views and take amazing pictures and videos.
I was extremely impressed with Sunita, she had everything well organized to the location we were going to meet, and she even printed directions and instructions of each stop and was very communicative. She is very on top of everything, well prepared and extremely nice. I tend to put hikes together amongst my friends and I know that it is not an easy task. that is why I was so impressed with Sunita. I know how much work it takes.
I recommend her hikes/events, it did not disappoint at all. Sunita is very organized; the description of the hikes is accurate. What to expect is listed and on the description and even what to take and clothes, shoes to take is also listed. I also love the surprise she had, such a cute butterfly bag with a special rock, daily affirmation reminder card essential oil. I am grateful for her generosity and more than anything also finding her group. I know that I will benefit, along with networking and finding other folks that love hiking as much as I do was great. Hiking truly has been my therapy in life, once I stated hiking a few years back, I learned on how much I enjoyed it and was beneficial to me. We live in such a beautiful place, we just need to get up, get out there and explore. Epic retreats makes it easier and enjoyable, to explore and connect. – Susie Hernandez

“The Big Sur hike led by Sunita Goldstein Epic Retreats was such a treat! We enjoyed amazing views that people come from all over the world to see. We met others on the hike that were delightful. The stop at The Sur House at Vantana Inn and Spa, where our group had a private luncheon in a spectacular location, was the perfect location set above Big Sur and packed with history in addition to incredible views of the Pacific Ocean.
Sunita also led our group in heart-warming conversation as we set our intentions for the year ahead, along with encouragement to ensure our goals align with our actions.
